2. Safety
2.1 Intended
use
These fixing accessories are intended to be used for position-
ing and securing solar flat-plate collectors. Any other use be-
yond that described shall be deemed inappropriate. Observa-
tion of these instructions is also part of the correct use of this
appliance.
Any changes or modifications void any warranty.
2.2 Safety
information
Installation, maintenance and repair must only be carried out
by a qualified contractor in accordance with these instructions.
Maintenance must be carried out by a qualified roofer.

2.3 Instructions, standards and regulations
Note
Observe all applicable national and regional regula-
tions and instructions.
Contractors are responsible for adherence to all applicable reg-
ulations during installation and commissioning. Accident pre-
vention regulations (e.g. VBG 74 in Germany) must be observed
when working with ladders, scaffolding or lifting platforms!
When working on roofs, observe all relevant safety regulations,
in particular „Safety regulations for work on roofs“ and „Safety
and recovery harnesses“ [or local regulations].
Note
Installation with these fixing accessories is only per-
mitted up to a height of 20 metres.
