Note
f
f
Make the thermal insulation on the heat source
flow and return lines vapour diffusion-proof in
order to prevent the formation of condensate on
these lines.
Note
f
f
The thermal insulation material is excluded from
our standard delivery.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Safety valve
When cracking open the safety valve, heating water should
be expelled at full flow. Constant dripping may be indicate a
contaminated valve seat.
f
f
Close the respective sliders or ball shut-off valves.
f
f
Undo the top section of the safety valve.
f
f
Clean the valve seat.
f
f
If necessary, renew the gasket.
f
f
Fit the top section of the safety valve.
5.2 Pressure gauge
Note
The operating pressure in the heating system must
not exceed 0.25 MPa positive pressure.
f
f
Check the operating pressure at regular intervals.
f
f
If the operating pressure drops, top up the system with
water.
5.3 Venting the system
When filling the system with water, air enters the pipework
and cylinder.
f
f
If you use a manual air vent valve, vent the heating system
repeatedly, particularly during the initial period following
commissioning.
f
f
Every time you vent the heating system, top it up with
water.
