TROUBLESHOOTING AND FAQ
THE WATER QUALITY ALARM ON THE Ac FACEPLATE IS SOLID RED
This indicates that a cartridge replacement is necessary. Follow the steps under Replacing Your Ac Cartridges
on page 12 of this manual or on the faceplate of your Ac unit. If this is occurring much more frequently than

THE Ac UNIT IS BEEPING AND WILL NOT STOP

THE Ac UNIT IS NOT PRODUCING ANY WATER
Ensure that the cold water municipal supply line to the Ac unit is turned on. If the cold water supply is not turned
on, turn it on and check for water again. If the cold water supply is on, continue troubleshooting:
1. Taking a new, unused Ac-CXL (or Ac-C) cartridge, remove the first cartridge and screw the unused cartridge
in to the first position. Check for water flow. If water flow returns, dispose of the used cartridge and follow the
steps under Replacing Your Ac Cartridges on page 12 of this manual. If water flow does not return, continue
to step 2.
2. Repeat step one for the second and third cartridge positions. If flow still does not return, contact Sterisil

THE WATER FROM THE Ac SMELLS LIKE FISH
One or more of your Ac cartridges is well beyond its expiration. Follow the steps under Replacing Your Ac
Cartridges on page 12 of this manual or on the faceplate of your Ac unit. Ensure that your Ac unit is plugged in
to ensure that the audible and visual alarms are operating correctly. If this is occurring much more frequently
than estimated by the graph on page 12, please contact Sterisil technical support.
