Set Up a Fixed IP Address in Windows XP or Windows 7
Click Start / Control Panel / Network Connections to find the network connection that represents your
connection to the Internet. Most often, this is labeled simply Local Area Connection.
Right-click the connection and select Properties.
Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the list (you may have to scroll down the list to find it)
Click Properties. Most default configurations will have both Obtain an IP address and Obtain DNS
server address automatically selected by default.
Click Use the following IP address and enter the following:
IP address:
192.168.1.2 / Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 / Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Click OK to close the configuration windows, and you should now be able to access the Model P100
via your Internet browser.
Set Up a Fixed IP Address in Windows Vista or Windows 10
In Windows Vista, click Start / Control Panel / Select Network and Internet / Network and Sharing
Center. In Windows 10, right-click Start, then select Control Panel. Select Network and Internet /
Network and Sharing Center.
Click Manage network connections in the list of tasks.
Right-click your local area connection and click Properties.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) from the list
Click the Properties button.
Click Use the Following IP address and enter the following:
IP address:
192.168.1.2
Subnet mask:
255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Click OK to close the configuration windows, and you should now be able to access the Model P100
via your Internet browser.
