LATCH LOCATIONS
Refer to the chart to determine the locations
of the locking brackets installed with the skin.
REMOVAL OF
FRAME B / SIDE C
1.
Use the “Skin Removal Tool” to disengage lock rods
securing frame B / side C in wall opening. Place hooked
end of tool into gap between glass frame and structure
and slide so that the tool engages the lock rod. Keep the
tool leading edge tight to the back of the glass frame to
prevent damage to the acoustic seals. Slide up on the
right side and down on the left side (counterclockwise
with regard to the face of the frame/side). Slide left on top
latches and right on bottom latches.
Tip: Twist “Skin Removal Tool” while sliding in order
for lock rod to be engaged. You may need to lift or
move adjacent frame/side to provide more clearance.
Tip: You may need to gently pry frame B / side C out with
“Trim and Glass Tool” if you need more clearance for the
“Skin Removal Tool” so you can get to the lock rod.
2.
Once lock rod is engaged, lift towards gap (opening) and
rotate counterclockwise to unlock latch. Repeat as necessary.
Keep edge tight to
back of glass frame
when sliding.
