STEC, Inc. makes every effort to abide by the Administrative Measure on the Control of
Pollution Caused by Electronics Information Products Directive, also known as the China
RoHS Directive. The Electronic Information Products (EIP) logo or label is used to mark parts
and assemblies that do not contain excessive amounts of hazardous substances as identified
by the China RoHS regulations. Units that do contain hazardous substances are marked with
the EIP log and include an Environmental Protection Use Period (EPUP) value that is
expressed in years.
