Configurable Parameters (Mouse Emulation)-
The multi-tap feature is configurable under
‘Multi-Tap’ in the i-Drive configuration applications. Two parameters are configurable,
Input Delay and Output Speed.
Input Delay-
This is the longest time that the i-Drive system will wait for additional taps
after the first tap is detected. It may be set manually or calibrated using the ‘Calibrate’
option in the i-Drive Configuration applications. No single or double tap input will be
acknowledged until after time has expired, thus, this delay should be set as short as
possible based on how fast the user can reliably tap the input.
Output Speed-
This is the speed of the multi-tap pulse that is sent to the chair. The i-Drive
system simulates a user inputting a multi-tap to the chair at a faster rate. This may set
manually in the i-Drive configuration applications.
