Internal control board
failure.
Verify that the main
burner flame is in contact
with the flame.
Check wiring and
connection to HSI
assembly.
Clean the flame sensor
rod of soot or metal
flakes.
Check igniter for lack of
voltage, cracks, or lose
connection. [11-20 Ohms
at 77° F (25° C) is “good”]
Check ground
connection.
Check that the gas valve
is not failing to close at
the end of a heating
cycle.
Replace ignition control
board.
