2.
Lift the ice bin with the lever (8) and lock the lever in the highest position (marked with
[0]
).
3.
Fill the tank with 5 litres of cold water. The water level must be below the ice bin when
the lever (8) is in the highest position (
[0]
).
4.
Connect the device to the power grid.
ð
The red indicator light (4) comes on to indicate that the unit is heating up. When the
red indicator light is not lit check the water level and top up water if necessary.
5.
Carefully fill the ice bin with dry ice. It holds 2.2 kg.
If ice particles lie on the edge of the supply tank, wipe the edge clean with a cloth.
6.
Fold down the lid and close the lid fastening.
7.
Wait until the green indicator light (3) comes on. Now the water has reached the
required temperature for fog generation. When the water cools down too much during
operation, the heating is switched back on and the red indicator light (4) comes on.
Lower the ice bin slowly with the lever (8) down to the middle position (
[1]
) so that the
dry ice gets in contact with the hot water. As a result, the solid carbon dioxide evapo‐
rates immediately and releases clouds of steam emerging from the fog nozzle (7). When
the fog output decreases, you can lower the ice bin cautiously.
8.
When water and dry ice are used up, you can refill the unit.
