Introduction

Thank you for purchasing a StarTech.com wireless access point (WAP). Based on the
IEEE 802.11b (2.4 GHz) wireless standard, this access point lets you connect your 802.11b
wireless devices to your wired Ethernet LAN or bridge wireless Infrastructure networks
together.  The WAP1011BB supports wireless access point roaming and bridging, and
uses 64/128-bit WEP encryption to keep your network transmissions secure. With auto-
rate fallback and web-based configuration control, you’ll be able to seamlessly and
securely integrate your wired and wireless networks.
