AP Bridge - Point to Multi-Point
The AP Bridge modes let you bridge two or more wired Ethernet networks together. AP
Bridge - Point to Multi-Point mode lets you connect to other wireless access points in
order to connect their wired networks.
Note: AP Bridge - Point to Multi-Point mode can only be used to bridge wired networks
together. When in this mode, the WAP1011BB can not accept connections from any other
wireless stations. If you need to be able to bridge wired Ethernet networks and still
provide connection service for other wireless stations, see AP Bridge - WDS on page 11.
When you are satisfied with your Point to Multi-Point settings, click Apply.
Parameter Description
Mode The mode fields shows that the WAP is AP Bridge - Point to
Multi-Point mode.
Channel Number
You can change the channel the WAP is using. Remember, in
order for your wireless clients to associate with the WAP, they
must have the same channel.
MAC Address Enter the MAC addresses of your other wireless access points
you wan to connect too.
