AP Bridge - Point to Point

The AP Bridge modes let you bridge two or more wired Ethernet networks together. AP
Bridge - Point to Point mode lets you connect to another wireless access point in order to
connect the two wired networks.  

Note:

AP Bridge - Point to Point mode can only be used to bridge wired networks

together. When in this mode, the WAP1011BB can not accept connections from any other
wireless stations. If you need to be able to bridge wired Ethernet networks and still
provide connection service for other wireless stations, see AP Bridge - WDS on page 11.

When you are satisfied with your AP Bridge -  Point to Point settings, click Apply.

Parameter

Description

Mode

The mode fields shows that the WAP is AP Bridge - Point to 
Point mode.

Channel Number

You can change the channel the WAP is using. Remember, in 
order for your wireless clients to associate with the WAP, they 
must have the same channel. 

MAC Address

Enter the MAC address of the second wireless access point you 
want to connect to.
