5.4 View freeze frame
• When an fault occurs, certain vehicle
conditions are recorded by the on-board
computer. This information is referred to
as freeze frame data.
• View Freeze Data is a snapshot of the
operating conditions at the time of an
fault.
• If DTCs were erased View Freeze Data
may not be stored in vehicle memory
depending on vehicle.
1. Use the UP/DOWN scroll button for more
PIDs if an arrow appears on the screen.
2. Press EXIT to return to Diagnostic Menu.
Note: if DTCs were erased, Freeze
Data maynot be stored in vehicle
memory depending on vehicle.
5.3 Live data
• The Scan Tool lets you view “real-time”
Live Data
• This information includes values (volts,
rpm, temperature, speed etc.) and
system status information (open loop,
closed loop, fuel system status, etc.)
generated by the various vehicle sen-
sors, switches and actuators.
1. Select Live Data in Diagnostic Menu
and press Enter
2. You can move in the menu with UP/
DOWN buttons
3. Return to the Diagnostic Menu with
Enter button.
5.2 Erase codes (continues)
• If there are still some trouble codes
for hard troubles, please find the
reason caused the trouble code first,
and then solve the problem.
Now, all the trouble codes can be erased.
1. Select Erase Codes from the Diag-
nostic menu and press ENTER
2. The display shows code erase status
3. ”Erase Done” if the fault code erasing
was successfull
4. If display shows ”Erase failure” then
you have to turn key of for a mo-
ment and turn on again, but do not
start the engine.
