GENERAL INFORMATION
Buttons and Display
– The Red IN/mm– Zero button
is a rocker switch.
– Turn on the Caliper with one
press of the Zero
– Button, Fig.2A or by moving
the slide.
– The Inch / Millimeter button
will change the units
displayed.
– A quick press on the zero
button will zero the
measurement reading.
– To turn off the tool press and
hold the Zero button until
the display turns off.
Wireless Communication
– Press and hold the Radio
button to turn on wireless
communication. Fig.2B
– When the display shows OFF,
release the button and the
display will show On and then
return to displaying the live
reading.
– The wireless symbol will light
up on the display.
– A quick press of the
Radio button will send a
measurement reading to
DSA 4.0.
– DSA 4.0 can also request a
measurement from the tool.
– To turn off the wireless, press
and hold the Radio button
until the display shows “On”,
release the button and the
display will show “Off” and
then the wireless symbol will
be turned off.
– The USB Micro B port is not a
data port, it is used only for
charging the battery.
