Option 3: Connection with Home Theatre System (Digital Audio SPDIF)
To enjoy true cinematic surround sound experience, you can connect the HubStation HD to a
Dolby
®
Digital 5.1 Surround Sound
home theatre system according to the diagram below.
IMPORTANT
• For this connection, you need to be using a
Dolby
®
Digital 5.1 Surround Sound Home
Theatre System
• You will need to purchase the
Digital Audio SPDIF
(Optical or Coaxial) cables separately
• To use Teletext, please use the TV remote control to switch your TV video source input
selection to an AV channel before pressing the Teletext button on the TV remote control to
display Teletext.
Viewing Procedure
1) Switch your TV to the Component channel to watch your programmes.
2) Select the desired channel using the remote control of your HubStation HD.
Note:
Should you decide to connect your HubStation HD using options 2 and 3, you may need to purchase cables like
HDMI
(High Definition Multimedia Interface)
and
Digital Audio (SPDIF)
separately as they are not provided together with the
HubStation HD.
