Batteries:

Battery box location differs from Starcraft/SmokerCraft model to model. The
battery on your boat should be inspected on a regular bases checking for
cleanliness and tightness of the connections. Also verify that the battery is se-
cure and that the area is ventilated. Replacement battery should be of the same
type as the original equipment.  Refer to the battery’s manual for additional
information.

Digital Depth/Fish Finder Graph:

This equipment provides information on the depth of the water

and helps to locate fish. There are two functioning parts to the gauge. The
gauge unit which houses the transmitter, receiver, and the user controls. The
transducer is located under the water and sends electrical energy from the
transducer into sonar waves to provide feedback to the  display. NOTE: Star-
craft/SmokerCraft is not responsible for damage done by tree stumps, sand
bars, shallow water, etc. due to inaccurate readings. Take the time to know the
water before getting under way.

Electrical Switches:

Your Starcraft/SmokerCraft boat is equipped with various electrical switches
based on the model of boat. These switches control the power to installed com-
ponents. Switches are either 2-position (on/off) or 3-position (on/off/on). The
switch position on a 3-position switch determines which components receive
power. All switches have a reset breaker located near the switch. If there is a
need to reset the breaker and it immediately trips again,

DO NOT

 attempt to

reset a second time. Tripping indicates a potential electrical problem and
should receive dealer attention. Always replace breakers with the same AMP
breaker.

Electrical Wiring System:

The 12 v DC  negative ground electrical system on your boat was fully

installed by Starcraft/SmokerCraft in our manufacturing facility and was tested
before being released to your dealer.  It is recommended that any additional
equipment installation be completed by your local dealer. An error in wiring
can cause fire or damage to your components and your boat.
