Error Codes for Treadmill, Treadclimber, Bike, Crosstrainer, and Versastrider machine configurations

Name Meaning/Definition
1 Model Mismatch Invalid equipment configuration is currently selected.
2 LCB Comms Lost Communications with the Lower Control board has been lost
4 Stuck key The key switch circuit has been closed for an excessive period of time.
5 Over Speed
Speed has exceeded the maximum specified speed of the machine by 3.0 miles per
hour. An example of maximum speed on many treadmills is 12.5 miles per hour.
6 Run Away
The belt motor is in a runaway condition. This is characterized by rapid acceleration
of the belt along with a belt speed that is in excess of the commanded speed.

Elevation Reverse
Direction
The elevation motor running is running in a direction opposite of its commanded direction.
8 Elevation Range The detected position of the elevation motor is outside the allowed range of the motor.
9 Elevation Stall During commanded motion, the elevation motor is failing to reach the target position.
10 Treadle Sensing Error
One treadle signal has been detected changing 700 successive times or
greater without any change to the other treadle signal. Note that the end user
will observe no sign of the occurrence of the error from the console display.
However, a record of the error will be logged consistent with other system errors
only if the previous logged error entry was not a Treadle Sensor error.
11 Battery Low
The reported battery voltage from the Lower Control board
has been detected to be less than 5.7 volts DC.
12 Speed Stall Speed is being commanded but no belt movement has been detected.

AC Motor Error
Received
The AC motor control is reporting an error to the console.
14 Application CRC Failed A failure of the system’s application memory has been detected.
15 Rail Stop Switch A problem with the Safety Switch circuit has been detected.

Display
Communication Lost
Communications between the Brain Board and the Display board has been lost.
