INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the
Simple Start™ Vehicle-To-Vehicle Battery Booster.
This car to car
booster is an innovative product that replaces the use of inconvenient booster cables to jump-start a
car. All you need to do is to insert the Simple Start's black plug into the working car's 12 volt accessory
outlet and the red plug into the 12 volt accessory outlet of the car that needs to be boosted.
OpERATINg INSTRUCTIONS
1. Insert the Black 12 Volt DC Accessory Plug into the 12 volt DC accessory outlet of the working car.
Rotate the plug slightly to make sure there is good contact. The power LED indicator will light
green.
Notes:
–
Some vehicles require that the ignition key be turned to the Accessory position to activate the
12 volt DC Accessory Outlet.
–
If the Power LED Indicator does not light, the Black 12 Volt DC Accessory Plug is not connected
properly to the working car's 12 Volt DC Accessory Outlet. Rotate the plug again to assure
good contact.
–
If the Power LED Indicator lights solid red, the battery of the working car is in a fault
condition, such as low battery voltage, high battery voltage or overheated.
2. Insert the Red 12 Volt DC Accessory Plug into the 12 volt DC accessory outlet of the car to be
boosted.
Note:
Turn OFF vehicle ignition and all accessories (radio, A/C, lights, connected cell phone
chargers, etc.); place vehicle in “park;” and set the emergency brake.
3. Rotate the plug slightly to make sure there is good contact. The Power LED Indicator will light
green and the Charging LED Indicator will flash red, indicating the charging process has begun.
Notes:
–
Some vehicles require that the ignition key has to be on the Accessory position to activate the
DC Accessory Outlet.
–
If the Charging LED Indicator does not light, the Red 12 Volt DC Accessory Plug is not
connected properly to the 12 Volt DC Accessory Outlet of the car to be boosted. Rotate the
plug again to assure good contact.
–
If the Charging LED Indicator lights solid red, the battery of the car to be boosted is in a fault
