1 Safety Instructions
1.1 Information Regarding the Operating Instructions
Knowledge of the basic safety instructions is a prerequisite for the safe handling and suc-
cessful operation of the device.
These operating instructions contain the necessary information to operate the device in a
safe manner.
These operating instructions, and in particular the safety information, must be observed by
everyone working on the device. Furthermore, the rules and regulations for the prevention
of accidents that are valid at the site of installation have to be complied with.
The operating instructions can on no account replace thorough training and familiarization,
but can only support these.
The dealer from whom you purchased your AccuBind Pro will gladly provide you with
information regarding training courses for:

Maintenance and servicing
1.2 Operator's Obligations
The operator is should only allow persons to work on the device who:

Have acquainted themselves with the instructions regarding occupational safety
and the prevention of accidents and who have been instructed in handling the
device.
■
Have read and understood the chapter on safety and the warnings contained in
these operating instructions.
1.3 Personnel Obligations
Persons who have been instructed to carry out work on the device commit themselves to:

Comply with the regulations regarding occupational safety and the prevention of
accidents;
■
Have read and understood the chapter on safety and the warnings contained in
these operating instructions before working with the device for the first time.
1.4 Dangers when Handling the Device
The AccuBind Pro has been constructed in accordance with the state-of-the-art
and approved safety rules. Dangers may nevertheless arise for the user or third parties if
the device is not used in accordance with the instructions or for another than the intended
use.
It is also possible for the device or other material assets to be damaged. Malfunctions that
may impair safety have to be eliminated without delay. The device may only be used:

In a technically safe and faultless condition.
