OPERATING IN “EDITING” MODE
Confirm that the machine has been set for
“Editing” mode as indicated by the lamp, if
another mode lamp is lit, press the blue button
until the correct lamp illuminates. At this time
the “insert book” indicator should also be light-
ed.
Note: If only the green start lamp is lit, this indi-
cates that the machine is in “Standby” mode,
press the green “start button to return the
machine to operating temperature
Locate the page in the book that you wish to
remove and replace. Mark it by folding its cor-
ner so that it can be located quickly in the
appropriate steps to follow.
Insert book to be edited (binding edge to the
bottom) in the center of the clamp opening at
the top of the machine so that it rests evenly on
the heating plate below. Slide book fully to the
right end. Continue to hold the book and main-
tain a slight pressure to the right end.
Press the green Start button while maintaing a
firm grip on the book block.
