1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
NOTE!
If the device has been damaged during transport, it must not be connected!
•
Incorrect operation and improper use may cause serious damage to the device or personal injury.
•
The device may only be used for it intended purpose, according to its design.
•
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use of the device.
•
When in use, protect the device and the power cable plug from contact with water or other liquids. Should the device inadver-
tently fall into water, immediately remove the plug from the socket and then call an expert to inspect the device.
Failure to follow these instructions could pose a hazard to your life.
•
Never open the housing of the device by yourself.
•
Do not put any objects into the housing of the device.
•
Do not touch the plug of the power cable with wet hands.
•
Regularly check the condition of the plug and the power cable. In case of any identified damage to the plug or cable, repair, if
any, should be performed at a specialised/authorised point.
•
In the event that the device falls or otherwise suffers any damage, in each case have it inspected and, if necessary, repaired, at
a specialised service point before you continue to use it.
•
Never repair the device by yourself – it could result in a life-threatening situation.
•
The device must not be altered or repaired by anyone without proper professional training.
•
If the power cable has been damaged, it should be replaced. The non-detachable power cable can be replaced at specialist
repair shops or by a qualified person.
•
Protect the power cable from contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open flames. If you want to disconnect
the device from the plug, always grasp and pull the plug, and never the cable.
•
Secure the power cable (or extension) so that nobody pulls it out of socket by mistake or stumbles over it.
•
Control the operation of the device during use.
•
Do not allow the device to be used by minors, people with physical or mental disabilities, people with impaired mobility or
anyone without adequate experience and knowledge about its proper use. These individuals may operate the device only
under the supervision of a person responsible for safety.
•
When not in use or when cleaned, always disconnect the power supply by pulling the plug from the socket.
•
NOTE:
As long as the power cable plug is connected to the socket, the device continues to be live.
•
Turn off the device before removing the plug from the socket.
•
Never pull the device by the power cable.
•
After installation, the device must be visible and easily accessible.
•
Easy access to the plug of the unplugged power cable must be provided.
2. INTENDED USE OF THE DEVICEA
The device is designed exclusively for preparing meals (heating rolls, cutlets, sausages, etc.). Any use other than intended is
inappropriate. Do not use the grill as a pre-heater for pots or pans. Do not place aluminium or plastic foil on the surface of the
heating plate.

4. CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DEVICE
The housing of the device is made of stainless steel. The working surfaces of the grill are heating plates with a total power capa-
city of 1800W, 2200W or 3600W, depending on the selected model (see the Table in item 3).
The control panel is located on the front of the device and features the following:
•
temperature controller in the range from 50 to 300 °C
•
operation signalling lamp.
•
on/off switch for the power supply of the appliance
Models starting from 742028 have two independent, separately-controlled heating surfaces.
5. INSTALLATION
•
The contact grill should be placed on a stable surface, in a closed room and with the power supply off.
•
The device must be placed in a way enabling its quick and easy disconnection from the mains.
•
The position of the device may not hinder any maintenance and cleaning operations.
•
Do not install the device inside any fitted construction or place it next to one another.
•
The position of the grill must allow access to it at least from the front. There should be no flammable materials near the device.
