Using the device for heating other items than those specified in this manual is not allowed. It poses the risk of damage to the
plates, and as a result, the risk of fire.
Do not move the device if the power cable is plugged into the socket, the work surface is not cooled down and there is any
content on the plates.
If the heaters overheat, the safety thermostat is switched off, in which case, after cooling down the device, use the „
RESET
” but-
ton located behind the cover on the back of the housing.
8. MAINTENANCE
Every day after work you must:
•
Set the thermostat at 0, switch off the appliance using the switch and remove the plug from the mains socket.
•
Cleaning should be carried out when the appliance is at room temperature. Do not clean the appliance while it is hot.
•
Clean the plates with a soft brush and then wipe dry with paper towel.
•
Cover the plates with vegetable oil.
•
Clean the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth.
Once a month, make sure that:
•
the power cable has not been damaged
•
all components of the device operate correctly.
On an annual basis, the device should be serviced in order to check the degree of its wear and tear, and detect any defects of the
components and parts. If any failure is identified, it must be removed by qualified technical personnel (technical service team). In
particular, the technical service team should pay attention to:
•
condition of heating components
•
condition of protection of heating components
•
degree of wear and tear of the device
•
quality of insulation
If the device is not used for a longer time, it should be cleaned and stored in a well-ventilated place. Any monthly maintenance,
annual servicing and repairs of the device may only be carried out by qualified technical personnel (technical service team).
9. DISPOSAL OF USED EQUIPMENT
•
Information for users about the correct method for dealing with used electrical and electronic equipment.
•
Leave old equipment in the store where you buy a new device.
Each store is obliged to accept old equipment free of char-
ge if we buy a new device of the same type and in the same quantity. The condition is to deliver it to the store at your own
expense.
•
Take used equipment to a collection point.
Information about the nearest collection point can be found on the municipal
website or bulletin board of your municipal office.
•
Leave your equipment at a service centre.
If the cost of the repair of the device makes it unreasonable to repair it or if the
device cannot be repaired due to technical reasons, the service point is required to accept it free of charge.
•
Dispose of used equipment without leaving your home.
If you neither have the time nor the opportunity to transport your
equipment to a collection point, you can use the services of specialised companies.
Remember! Do not dispose of used equipment together with any other wastes. High penalties may be imposed.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin on the product, its packaging or instructions means that the product
must not be disposed of into ordinary waste containers. It is the responsibility of the user to take the used equipment
to a designated collection point for proper processing.
10. WARRANTY
The seller bears liability under a warranty or guarantee.
Any damage resulting from the formation of calcium deposits in the device is not subject to warranty repairs.
Replacement of the heating plate, if caused by flooding, is also excluded from warranty, as a result of which the plate may crack
and the device cannot be used properly.
Warranty replacement does not apply to such items as: bulbs, rubber elements, heating elements damaged by limescale, screws
and elements subject to natural wear and tear, e.g.; burners, rubber gaskets and all types of mechanically damaged elements. This
also applies to any subassemblies damaged as a result of incorrect use.
The rights under the guarantee cease automatically as a result of breaking the warranty seal or self-repair.
