Mechanical operating hours counter

The device counts the total operating hours. They are shown on the operating hours
counter mounted on the front.

If motor management for frequency inverter operation is selected, the operating
hours counter starts to count as soon as the hoist motor is activated.

If motor management for a pole-changing motor is selected, the operating hours
counter starts to count as soon as the hoist motor is activated.

3.7.3

Temperature control for hoist and travel motors

 DANGER

ϑ

ϑϑ

ϑ

The hoist motor temperature is constantly monitored. If the motor ptc thermistor (input

ϑ

ϑϑ

ϑ

1

) is activated a message is given via the device LEDs and all hoist motions (outputs

K↓

K↓↓

 and

K↑

 ,

K↑↑

) are disabled..

The load cannot be moved until the hoist motor has cooled off.

NOTICE

The ptc thermistor input

ϑ

ϑϑ

ϑ

1

is monitored for short-circuiting. If the resistance measured

at the ptc thermistor input drops to <80 Ohm, a ptc thermistor error is displayed for

ϑ

ϑϑ

ϑ

and the hoist motions disabled as for overtemperature (see chapter 9.2.1).

 WARNING

ϑ

ϑϑ

ϑ

The  travel  motor  PTC  thermistor(s)  are  connected  to  temperature  input

ϑ

2

.  If  the  PTC

thermistor reaches cut-off temperature, the SLE22 detects the status

overtemperature2

and disconnects

left/right

. The travel motors can no longer be activated.

After the motor has cooled down the error is automatically acknowledged by the SLE22.

NOTICE

All PTC thermistors must meet the requirements of DIN 44080.

All PTC thermistors can be replaced by resistances with ~300 Ohm if the motors
used have no PTC thermistors.

CAUTION:

The hoist or cross travel motors are then no longer protected against

overtemperature.

Note technical data!

The ptc thermistor inputs are monitored for short-circuiting. If the resistance
measured at the input drops to <80 Ohm, a ptc thermistor error is displayed.

If  no  temperature  sensor  is  connected  to

ϑ

ϑϑ

ϑ

the  warning  signal  can  be  disabled  by

switching sliding switch S3_2.

left/right

 is switched independently of this.
