10.1 Maintenance
• Consult the relevant national regulations to determine the type and extent of
inspections.
• Adapt inspection intervals to the operating conditions.
As a minimum, check the following points during maintenance work on the device:
• Whether the electrical lines have been clamped down securely
• Whether the device enclosure and/or protective enclosure has/have cracks or other
visible signs of damage
• Compliance with the permissible temperatures (according to IEC/EN 60079)
• Damage to the seals
10.2 Overhaul
10.3 Repair
You must not carry out maintenance work on built-in elements with flameproof
enclosures. In case of damage, replace the built-in element.
Observe the relevant national regulations in the country of use.
