Request and import
new licence file(s)
Send the old and new hardware ID
and the Access server serial number,
the product key and the licence
serial number of the previous server
operating system to Siedle Project
Sales.
You will then receive the new licence
file as quickly as possible.
Procedure

In the navigation area, click on the
System maintenance
menu.

System maintenance

opens up.

In the opened
System mainte-
nance
menu, click on the
Licences
menu.

The
Licences
page opens up in
the content area.

Click in the
License import
area
on
Browse
.

In the Windows Explorer, select
the licence file you wish to import.

Confirm your input by clicking on
Open
.

The licence file is displayed in the
Licence import
area.

Click on
Start import
.

The new licences are displayed in
the
Available licences
list.

For importing optional licences,
follow the same procedure.
Ordering Access licences
The
hardware ID
of the Access
server is generated from different
hardware and software components
of the Access server.
Remarks
•
If you modify significant sections
of your sever or exchange the server,
the hardware ID changes and the
previous licences have to be con-
verted, as they are linked to the
previous hardware ID.
•
The licenses are generated for
each server.
For this, you will need
the hardware ID of the server.

Procedure

Ordering Access licences

In the navigation area, click on the
System maintenance
menu.

In the opened
System mainte-
nance
menu, click on the
Licences
menu.

The
Licences
page opens up in
the content area.

Click on
export hardware ID
.

In the Windows Explorer, select
the required storage location on
your PC.

Use the XML file generated by
the Access server with the hardware
ID to order the basic licence or the
optional licence.

Order the Access licences required
in your system (these incur a cost)
from your Access Certified Partner
(ACP), specifying your hardware ID.
Important!
•
The Access server (software
variant) can be tested free of charge
for a period of 30 days.
•
For regular operation of the Access
server (only software variant), a
chargeable basic Access licence must
be purchased. The free trial period
ends after 30 days.
•
After expiry of the 30-day test
period, the Access system is deacti-
vated and cannot be used until the
Access basic licence is imported.
When accessing the Access server,
the Licence notification message
appears.
•
For Access servers S and M, the
relevant Access basic licence (S / M)
is already included in the scope of
supply.
