Restore the existing configuration
Procedure

In the navigation area, click on the
System maintenance
menu.

The
System maintenance
menu
opens up.

In the navigation area, click into
the opened
System maintenance
menu on
System backup
.

System backup
page opens
up in the content area.

In the area
Import/export
system backup
, select the option
Upload backup:

Click on
Browse
.

Navigate in your Windows
Explorer to the storage location of
the backup file.

Click on
Restore
.

Read the notes contained in the
confirmation prompt and confirm
with
Yes
, if you wish to continue
with the backup.

The backup is imported. The pro-
cess can take some minutes.

Successful completion of the
system restoration is confirmed with
a message.
Check and save basic parameters
Procedure

Open the menu
System main-
tenance > Basic parameters
.

The
Basic parameters
menu
opens with the index tab
Notices
.

Change to the index tab
Server
.

Document the hardware ID gen-
erated by the Access Server (e.g.
AAAA-BBBB-CCCC-DDDD-EEEE)
in this document to allow this to
be used for requesting the new
licences.

Enter the IP address of the Access
system assigned in the server
operating system, and change
the already entered IP address to
the required IP address.
The IP
addresses must agree with the
address in the server operating
system.
Otherwise the terminals
cannot connect to the Access server
and the Access system would not
work correctly.

Click on
Save
to take the changes
over in the system.

With the save routine, the server
services are restarted.
Using this process, terminals are
given the latest firmware.
Commission the new Access
system
Procedure
1
Establish an active connection to
the Access server using the commis-
sioning computer.

Start the Firefox browser on the
commissioning computer.

Enter the individually assigned
IP address of the server operating
system.

The login screen of the Access
server is accessed and opens in the
browser window.

Log into the Access server
(Account name:
admin
/ Password:
admin
).
Note
When first logging in to the Access
system, the page
Siedle Access
Licensing Agreements
is displayed
once.

Read all licensing agreements
through carefully and save them
locally in your management struc-
ture.

Click on
Done
when you have
read and accepted the licensing
agreements.

You are now on the start page
(
Dashboard
) of the Access server.
