4-12   Windows Software Error Codes

SRS QMS Gas Analyzer

Troubleshooting:

Check the voltage output of the external power supply with a voltmeter.
Adjust the voltage to 24 V in adjustable external supplies or replace the power
supply altogether if necessary.
Contact SRS for units with a built-in power supply (Option Opt02).

PS7

Type of Error:

24VDC P/S.

Error Message:

External 24V P/S error: Voltage >26V.

Error Cause:

Voltage output of 24VDC Power Supply exceeds the acceptable 22-26V DC
range. The Power LED is turned off and the Error LED is turned on instead.

Troubleshooting:

Check the voltage output of the external power supply with a voltmeter.
Adjust the voltage to 24 V in adjustable external supplies or replace the power
supply altogether if necessary.

Contact SRS for units with a built-in power supply (Option Opt02).

RF4

Type of Error:

Quadrupole Mass Filter RF P/S.

Error Message:

RF P/S Error: Power Supply in current limited mode.

Error Cause:

The circuit that drives the primary of the RF Transformer is in current limited
mode.

Troubleshooting:

Check for a short in the quadrupole connections.

RF6

Type of Error:

Quadrupole Mass Filter RF P/S.

Error Message:

RF P/S Error: Primary Current exceeds 2.0 Amps.
