SQPro Halogen oven oPeration Manual

BEFORE FIRST USE

After unpacking carefully check the appli-

ance for any visual damage such as mis-

aligned or da ma ged casing or damage to 

the plug or cable  ensure that no parts are 

missing  
Thoroughly wash the glass bowl, plas-

tic base, cooking racks and tongs in hot 

soapy water and allow to dry completely  

IMPORTANT

 -

 

do not immerse the glass lid 

in water or place in a dishwasher  once 

unplugged  from  the  mains  power  socket, 

the surface of the glass lid can be carefully 

wiped clean using a damp cloth or sponge 

uSe Of COOKWare in HaLOgen Oven

You can use anything that can be used 

in conventional ovens, such as oven safe 

pans, bowls, plates, tin foil, baking paper, 

etc. as long as the fan is not blocked and 

the lid can be closed fully.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before  cooking  with  the  SQPro  Halogen 

Oven for the first time:

 1 

ensure that the appliance is on stable 

and heatproof surface.

 2 

ensure that there is a suitable amount 

of  surface  space  cleared  to  place  the 

glass lid when removed from the SQPro 

Halogen oven 

 3 

Have all necessary elements in place 

(cooking  rack,  tongs)  and  oven  gloves 

are ready on hand 

 4 

Lift the lid handle and press the switch  

on the side of the handle. Place lid cen-

trally and securely onto bowl  

  5 

Plug the cord into power socket then 

press the switch again to release the han-

dle, then push it down to start cooking 

  6 

Set thermostat to 250°C 

 7 

Set timer for 5 minutes to remove any 

lubricants  from  the  element  (you  will 

notice a slight burning odour).

 8 

Allow to cool for 5 minutes with top unit 

removed  ensure that the appliance has 

at least 10cm (3”) distance on all sides 

from any other appliance or object.

 9 

Place  food  centrally  into  the  bowl  on 

the cooking rack and ensure that the 

food is approximately 25 – 30mm (1”­ 

1¼”) from the glass wall to allow maxi-

mum air circulation 

 10 

Place lid on the bowl 

 11 

Insert the plug firmly into the wall outlet.

 12 

Set the thermostat and timer as re-

quired  Check recipe or the quick re-

ference  card  for  recommended  cook-

ing temperature and time 

 13 

Your halogen oven will quickly heat up 

to the set temperature and maintain 

this temperature until the cooking time 

has elapsed. The fan and element will 

then both auto ma ti cal ly switch off.

 14

supplied as this will de-activate the sa-

fety switch and turn off the oven.

WARNING

:

 

Never turn the time control 

an ti  clock  wise  as  this  may  damage  the 

ti mer. Always ensure that you set the 

correct time required.
