IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Basic safety precautions should always be fol lo -

w ed when using electrical appliances, including 

the following:

make sure the appliance is unplugged when not in 

use, before putting on or ta king off parts, and before 

cleaning.

Do not allow the power cord to hang over edge of table 

or counter or touch hot surfaces.

To reduce the risk of an electrical shock or damage to 

the product, do not immerse the plug, cables or lid in 

water or other liquids.

Unplug from mains power socket when not in use and 

before cleaning. Remove plug by grasping the plug. Do 

not pull the cord.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re pla ced by 

the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified 

person in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not operate any appliance with a dama ged cord or 

plug, or after the appliance malfunc tions, was dropped 

or damaged in any manner.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Surfaces remain hot even 

after  the  SQPro  Halogen  Oven  is  switched  off.  Use 

handles, wear oven mitts, or use the protective mesh.

9 Children should not use this appliance. Close supervi

-

sion is necessary when any appliances are used near 

children.

Do not attempt to dissasemble the product. Unauthor

-

ised handling of the device may result in an electrical 

shock or damage to the device and persons, and will 

void your warranty.

If the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in 

any manner return appliance to the nearest authorized 

service station for test, repair or adjustment.

The appliance should not be operated by means of an 

external timer-switch or by means of a separate system 

with remote control.

supplied  or  re com men ded  by  the  manufacturer.  In

Do not use outdoors. This appliance is not designed for 

outdoor usage.

Do not move or lift the SQPro Halogen Oven while the 

power cord is still connected to the wall outlet. Remove 

the plug from the wall outlet, then remove the top by 

using both hands, move carefully. Use of oven mitts is 

recommended.

 

20  Do not place the halogen oven on or near a hot gas or 

electric hob or in a heated oven. Keep the appliance at 

least 10cm / 3” away from other surfaces.

 When the appliance is not in use, turn the time and 

temperature dials to OFF position and disconnect the 

power cord. Never move or lift the oven lid or grill while 

the power cord is connected to the wall outlet.

 Disconnect power cord,

  Lift the top using carrying handle.

 Place the top so that the stainless steel edge rim and 

the handle/plastic top rest on a flat surface.

 Do not place the hot underside of the lid direct ly onto 

laminated  surfaces,  wood  surface,  paper,  plastic  or 

other flammable surfaces. Put the lid only on heat re

-

sistant surface.

 Never place the lid on a chair or bench while it is plug-

ged in and operating.

Always place the top unit onto the bowl before plugging 

in the power cord and switching on.

 Keep the bowl sides away from other surfaces.

 Ensure that cables are placed safely to prevent slips, 

trips and falls.

 Do  not  clean  with  metal  scouring  pads.  Pieces  may 

break off of the pads and touch electrical parts, creat

ing risk of electrical shock.
