Basic safety precautions should always be

is normal. Do not cover, touch or obstruct

knobs.

Store rice cooker in a cool, dry place.

Use appliance on a level, dry, and heat­re-

sistant surface.

Always attach plug to appliance first, then 

plug  cord  into  the  wall  outlet.  To  discon-

nect, switch the appliance off first, then re-

move plug from wall outlet.

This appliance has a polarised plug. To 

reduce the risk of electric shock, this 

plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one 

way. If the plug does not fit fully in the 

outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not 

fit, contact a qualified electritian. Do not 

modify the plug in any way.

Before first use

• 

Read  all  instructions  and  important  safe-

guards.

• 

Remove all packaging materials and make su­

re items are received in good condition.

• 

Tear up all plastic bags as they can pose a risk 

to children.

• 

Wash accessories in warm, soapy water. Rin­

se and dry thoroughly.

• 

Remove inner pot from rice cooker and clean 

with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry tho-

rough ly before returning to cooker.

• 

Wipe body clean with a damp cloth.

• 

Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

• 

Do not immerse the rice cooker base, 

cord or plug in water at any time.
