TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Suggested Solution

No WiFi connection

Ensure   camera   and   mobile   device   are

correctly paired

Ensure   you   have   located   the   optimal
location   for   WiFi   transmission   (see   step

11)

Camera   does   not
power on

Ensure power plugs are connected at the

topside box and to the camera

For GoPro 3 and 3+, ensure a battery is
installed

Ensure 12 volt power source is present. If

power   source   is   discharged   below   12
volts, they will not power the Squid

Reflections on video

Ensure camera LEDs are switched off

Use included black silicone camera case to

mask the GoPro
