R) STORAGE POSITION. The treadmill may be folded to reduce the floor space the treadmill occupies when it
is not in use. With the treadmill off AND unplugged, you may lift the deck by the rear portion until it reaches

Carefully and slowly remove your hand from the deck and assure that the lock is engaged. The deck should
not move when the lock is engaged. Supporting the weight of the deck as before, carefully lower the deck to
the floor. DO NOT DROP THE DECK. Once it is in the use position, start again with Instruction #A.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. LUBRICATION: Your deck and walking belt come from the factory ready to use. There is no need to apply
any lubricant in order to start to use your new treadmill. We recommend that a small amount of the lubricant
provided on your parts tray be applied after 200 hours of use. For example, after using your treadmill for 5
days a week at 45 minutes per day, your treadmill will need to be lubricated in about one year.
2. In order to apply the lubricant your must follow these steps:
A. Unplug the treadmill from the electrical outlet.
B. Loosen the belt tension a small amount by turning the roller adjustment screws at the end of the treadmill
counter clockwise (to the left). Use the hex key that was provided with your treadmill. You may need
to turn both these screws at least 2 full turns or more to provide the slack you need to perform the
lubrication.
