Using a network server with HMP
This section explains how to configure your HMP unit to use a network server as content source.
The HMP can use an HTTP server as the source for the multimedia content to be displayed. In this scenario the player will frequently
check for modifications to the files on the server, while using the internal storage to cache some of the files.
If you require your HMP to instead periodically download the content of a network server to its internal storage, see the
Pull Mode
section of this document.

In the main page of HMP Control Center, select from the left menu
Media Sources
.
2.
Change the Primary source to
Network Project
.
3.
Enter the URI of your network project. The HMP will open the index.svg file in the root of the entered URI.
Note: you can use HTTP or HTTPS servers

Press
Apply
You can specify a Fallback source in case your network server cannot be reached by the HMP.
