Settings
Number keys 2~9 can be assigned one speed
dial number each. Pressing and holding a key
with an assigned speed dial number calls that
number.
Before using the speed dial function, set the
Enable Speed Dial item to On.
Dedicated Key
You can set the joystick up, down, left, and right
keys to launch specific phone functions using
the Dedicated Key feature.
To set a Dedicated Key:
1. Select
Settings > Phone Setup >
Dedicated Key
from the main menu.
2. Use the joystick to highlight a key to
program and press the
Enter
key to
select it.
3. Use the joystick to select a function for
the key and press the
Enter
key to select
it.
When the idle screen is displayed, the
dedicated key can be pressed to launch the
selected application.
Auto Update of Date and time
Auto update of date and time is a network
service that automatically updates the date and
time in your phone when you travel or if daylight
savings time is used in your area.
You can enable this feature by selecting
Settings > Phone Setup > Auto update
of date and time
to take advantage of this
service, if offered by your service provider.
To enable this option, highlight the Auto update
of date and time option and toggle between On
and Off using the left soft key.
Flight Mode
Setting the phone to flight mode disables all call
functions to save power consumption and avoid
call disruptions while playing media files. Go to
Settings > Phone Setup > Flight Mode
to set
your mode preference.
LCD Backlight
To set the backlight timer, press
Settings >
Display Setup > LCD Backlight
. Use the
joystick to highlight your preference. Press OK
to confirm the setting.
Call Setup
The Call Setup menu contains call features that
control or restrict the calls you make or receive.
There are also features to show or hide your
number when making calls, control the time of
calls, conveniently redial numbers, or select a
line.
The Call Setup menu features include
Caller
ID, Call Waiting, Call Divert, Call Barring,
Line Switching, Call time Reminder, Call
time Display, Auto Redial, Closed User
Groups.
