Air Riveter
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
To prepare 3CRH6A
Measure the outer dimension of your
rivets to choose the corresponding
nosepiece. Follow the steps below to
install the desired nosepiece:
a. Set up the desired Nosepiece
(No. 33-2, 33-3 or 33-4 ) on
Frame Head (No. 34) as shown.
b. Loosen and remove the Frame
Head (No. 34) from the Oil Cylinder
Body (No. 43), then loosen and
remove the Jaw Housing (No. 35 )
from the Jaw Housing Coupler
(No. 39).
c. Take out the Jaw and Jaw Pusher
(No. 36 & 37)
d. Assemble the Jaw Housing and
adjust its length to match the
Spanner Gauge (No. 64) as shown
Vacuuming Rivets and Collect-
ing Mandrel
a. Connect the tool to air supply, let
the air enter into the tool 3CRH6A.
* Make sure the Safety Cap
(No. 60Z) is mounted into the
Frame Cap Nut (No. 57).
b. Insert the matching rivet into the
nosepiece, then
press the trigger
halfway
(don't press it com
pletely) to hold the rivet on the
nosepiece and push the rivet
head into the hole of workpiece.
c.
Press the trigger fully down
to
pull the rivet’s mandrel.
d.
Release the trigger halfway
(don't release it completely) to
discharge the spent mandrel into
Safety Cap (No. 60Z).
e. When the spent mandrel bottle is
filled with rivet's mandrel, please
unsrew the Safety Cap (No. 60Z)
and empty all of them.
