Time 
Use UTC 
GPS satellites transmit UTC time, which is recorded in the Console. 
Select this if you want your PC data files to use UTC. 
 
Use local time zone (from PC) 
If this option is selected, the UTC times on the Console will be 
translated to the local time as specified on your PC. 
 
Console Names 
The first time a Console is connected to ConsoleSync, you are 
prompted to give it a name. The names you have previously provid-
ed are listed here. If you Delete a name, the next time the Console 
is connected, you will again be asked for a name. If you click 
Change, a question box will ask you for the new name for that Con-
sole. 
 
NOTE: Deleting or Changing a name does not affect any existing 
data files. They will not be deleted or altered in any way. This only 
changes how new files are named. If you want old files to have the 
new name, you must rename them yourself. 
 
Temperature, Pressure, and Speed Units 
The units selected in these fields will be used for both the Console 
display and for any recorded data. The available units are:
