FIRST USE
•
The EDGE™ 13 UV-A LED flood lamp is shipped factory set at the specified
intensity for optimal performance during inspections.
• Carefully unpack and inspect the lamp for possible damage during shipment.
If any damage is noted, immediately notify the carrier and supplier before
attempting to use the lamp.
•
Make tests in a darkened area for best fluorescent response.
• Prior to plugging the unit into a grounded receptacle, ensure that the power
switch is in the OFF position. The EDG-13SBLC lamps have a two-position
rocker switch (O = off and I = on).
• Push the power switch to the ON position. Instant-on operation ensures that
each of the UV-A LEDs reaches full intensity very quickly. Check to see if the
unit is operating optimally.
