Replace a Boot Drive
To
replace
a
boot
drive
in
the
nTier
Verde
array,
the
array
must
be
taken
out
of
its
rack.
If
the
array
is
not
mounted
in
a
rack,
skip
to
Remove the Front Bezel
You
need
to
remove
the
front
bezel
prior
to
removing
the
array
from
a
rack.
The
bezel
is
held
in
place
with
magnets.
Grasp
the
sides
of
the
bezel
and
pull
it
straight
off
the
array.
Remove the Array From a Rack
Use
these
instructions
to
remove
the
array
from
a
rack.
1.
Using
a
#2
Phillips
screwdriver,
remove
the
screw
on
each
side
of
the
front
of
the
array.
Warning
The Spectra nTier Verde array weighs between 57 lb (25.8 kg) and 136 lb (61.9 kg)
depending on how many drives are installed. Use extreme caution when moving it.
Always use two people, one on each side, when lifting or moving it.
