Electrical Connections
Aquifer DC Systems
DC powered units will have a terminal block for con-
necting to your power source. Terminals extend through
the case and power can be connected on either side.
Aquifer Power Pack Solar (PPS) Systems
Solar Power Pack models have a solar panel that fits into
the lid of the case. Unfold the Panel and connect it to the
charge control with the black connectors.
The AC Power cord for the battery charger is supplied with
a US
- style plug though it will accept any input voltage
from 100 - 260 Volts AC, 50/60Hz.
Aquifer Power Pack models are shipped with the battery
disconnected. Connect the battery using the large red
connectors.
Note; The best way to store the unit is to leave the
battery charger pugged in to properly maintain the
battery, or the Battery can be fully charged and discon-
nected prior to storage. Leaving the battery connected
will drain it in about 30 days.
On Power Pack models there is a 15 - Amp fuse, in a water-
tight holder, along the positive battery wire.
