Quantum SDLT 320 Tape Drives
SDLT 320 Tape Drive LEDs
The tape drive has three light emitting diodes, or LEDs, on the front of the drive, as
shown in Figure 7-3.
Density LED
This amber LED indicates whether the tape in the drive is of the
SDLT-220 format or SDLT-320 format.
Status LED
This green LED indicates the tape drive status.
Cleaning LED
This yellow LED indicates cleaning requirements and functions.
Eject
This button ejects the tape cartridge from the drive. When the button is pressed,
the drive completes any writing of data to the tape, and then ejects the cartridge.
Infrared Port
This infrared port, also known as the Global Storage Link (GSLink),
provides a wireless remote testing base for customers and integrators to access system
diagnostic information.
