Warranty

What is not covered under this Warranty

1.

Any failure that results from an accident, purchaser’s abuse, neglect or 

failure to operate Product in accordance with instructions provided in the 

owner’s manual(s) supplied with the Product.

2.

Pre-delivery service, i.e. assembly, oil or lubricants, and adjustment. 

3.

Items or service that are normally required to maintain the product, i.e. 

lubricants, filters and gaskets, etc. 

4.

Any failure caused by installing or operating the Product under conditions 

not in accordance with installation and operation guidelines or damaged by 

contact with surroundings.

5.

Pump or valve wear or failure caused by rain, excessive humidity, 

corrosive environments, oil contamination or other contaminants.

6.

Cosmetic defects that do not interfere with Product functionality. 

7.

Damage due to incorrect voltage or improper wiring to which the Product is 

connected. 

8.

Other items not listed but considered general wear parts. 

9.

Pressure switches, air governors and safety valves modified from factory 

settings.

10. Damage caused by use of incorrect oil. 

11. Damage from inadequate filter maintenance.

Responsibilities under this warranty:

Warranty Provider: To repair or replace, at Spear & Jackson option, any 

Product or component which is defective, has malfunctioned and/or failed to 

conform due to defective material or workmanship within duration of the 

warranty period. 

Spear & Jackson reserves the right to replace defective parts of the Product 

with parts and components of similar quality, grade and composition where an 

identical part or component is not available.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same 

type rather than being repaired.  Refurbished parts may be used to repair the 

goods.
Purchaser:
Retain dated proof of purchase and maintenance records. Use reasonable care 

in the operation and maintenance of the products as described in the owner’s 

manual(s).
