Assemble the Upper Elevator

ATTACH THE ELEVATOR TUBE ASSEMBLY

While the system is securely resting on the sawhorse. Install elevator tubes (32 and 35) to top

pole section (4). Install pole cap (38) at this time.

WARNING

TIGHTEN THE BOLTS (11 AND 29) IN THE LOCK NUTS (31) UNTIL FLUSH (EVEN) WITH THE LOCK NUT’S OUTER

EDGE.

NOTE

TEST-FIT THE LARGE BOLTS INTO THE LARGE HOLES OF THE ELEVATOR TUBES, BACKBOARD BRACKETS, AND

TRIANGLE PLATES. CAREFULLY ROCK THEM IN A CIRCULAR MOTION TO REAM OUT ANY EXCESS PAINT FROM

HOLES, IF NECESSARY.
