2. Setting up the easel

Unlock the clamps on the three legs. Pull out the

legs to the desired length. Lock the clamps so that

the legs will stand securely. Do the same with the

middle column until it reaches the desired height.

3. Attaching the canvas holder

The canvas holder can be easily placed

onthe easel without any tools by hooking

it onto the screw heads.

 NOTICE

Note that the easel only reaches its maximum stability after mounting the canvas

holder, inserting the middle column into the center strut and the eyelet of the canvas

holder and finally tightening all the screws. The image shows a lesser stable configu

ration. Please keep this in mind when moving the easel!

4. Final position

The canvas holder‘s final position is secured by tightening the knurled screws on the

back of the canvas holder. Ensure that the canvas support is positioned level. The

canvas support can be easily adjusted to any desired height by loosening the screws.

The leg angle may have to be adjusted and / or the canvas support may have to be

re-mounted if you want to change the height of the canvas support. This may mean

temporarily opening the locks. You can adjust the tilt angle of the painting canvas by

adjustment of the easel‘s rear leg.

5. Using the middle strut and final assembly

of the easel

To reach maximum stability it is recommended that you correctly

place the canvas support, insert the middle strut into the eyelet

and lock the the screws of the canvas support and the easel

shoulder.

6. Using the clamp

The spring-loaded clamp system on the top of the middle strut

securely fixes the canvas in place and prevents it from slipping or

tumbling.

 Operating hints:

The Walimex pro workshop easel features tray holders that can folded out from the middle

of the picture holder. You can place paints or other utensils in it. This easel also features a

brush and cloth holder on the left and right under the canvas support.

If necessary, a weight can be attached to the fixing strap. This gives the easel extra

stability.

NOTICE

Please follow all instructions in this manual to achieve maximum stability of the

easel. It may be necessary to retighten all screws. Use the screen clamp at the top of

the centre column for maximum stability.

Always mount the canvas

holder centered, never

off-center!

When mounting the

canvas holder, mind the

equidistance of the moun-

ting holes to the center.

You can increase the stability of the canvas

holder by tightening the holder screws on

the front with a screwdriver.
