REMOVAL OF IGNITION CONTROL MODULE – DSI MODELS
Replacement procedure:
1.
Rotate the latching knob and open the small door of the module/transformer control compartment.
2.
Disconnect the wire leads from the defective module.
3.
Remove the (2) sheet metal screws holding the module and remove it.
4.
Replace module in reverse order. Note: Refer to the wiring connection diagrams in section 9.0.

REMOVAL OF TRANSFORMER – DSI MODELS
Replacement procedure:
1.
Rotate the latching knob and open the small door of the module/transformer control compartment.
2.
Disconnect the wires from the defective transformer.
3.
Remove the (2) sheet metal screws holding the transformer and remove it. Note the ground wires
attached to one of these screws.
4.
Remove the transformer holding bracket and retain with the screws for later use.
5.
Replace transformer in reverse order. Note: Reattach ground wires. Refer to the wiring connection
diagrams in section 9.0.
