Connecting Component Video
To connect your HDTV set-top-box decoder using component video:
1. Connect the green Y jack on the back on your HDTV set-top-box to the green HDTV
Y jack on the back of your LCD TV.
2. Connect the red Pr/Cr jack on the back of your HDTV set-top-box to the red Pr/Cr
jack on the back of your LCD TV.
3. Connect the blue Pb/Cb jack on the back of your HDTV set-top box to the blue Pb/Cb
jack on the back of your LCD TV.
4. Press the “Source” button of the remote control to display the OSD setup menu to
select “Component 1.”
Note:
1. If you connect your HDTV set-top-box to Component input (2), then select “compo-
nent 2” in the OSD setup menu.
2. Both component input 1 and component input 2 support 720p/1080i feed from HDTV
set-top-boxes.
3. If you have a progressive scan DVD player that supports component video output, you
can connect the DVD player to your LCD TV via component the connection as illus-
trated aboves.
