The infeed table on the Model SB1091 has
positive stop bolts that, when properly set up,
allow the operator to quickly adjust the infeed
table between finish/final cuts and shaping/heavy
cuts.
We recommend setting the minimum depth of
cut to

" and the maximum depth of cut to

for most operations.
Each positive stop bolt (see Figure 44) controls
the top or bottom range of the table movement.
The jam nuts lock the positive stop bolts in
position so they won't move during operation.

The depth scale on the infeed table can be
calibrated or "zeroed" if it is not correct.

To calibrate depth scale on infeed table:
1.
Set outfeed table height per Setting
Outfeed Table Height on Page 41.
2.
Move cutterhead guard out of the way.
3.
Place a straightedge across infeed and
outfeed tables.
4.
Adjust infeed table until it is level with
outfeed table, as illustrated in Figure 45.
