Set Up
The set up option allows the user to change the MIDI and
timecode parameters of the automation system.
MIDI
The MIDI option allows you to change MIDI channels,
select SEND mode for transmitting continuous controllers,
SLAVE mode for receiving continuous controllers and
allows ON/OFF button presses to be sent out as I\1IDI note
events.
MIDI Channel - this refers to both MIDI port I and MIDI
port 2. The MIDI channel number is set to number 1 in the
factory. To select a different MIDI channel number:
L Select MIDI from the set up menu and press ENTER.
2. Select the CHANNEL
option.
3. Press the right cursor key
4. Select the desired channel number using the dial.
5. Press ENTER to keep or EXIT to lose.
SLAVE - When slave is on the yeAs on the console are
controlled from external continuous controllers, such as the
MIXER page of a sequencer.
The faders do not control the
yeAs
on the console but still output continuous controller
data provided SEND is on.
To turn send on.or off:

2. Select the SEND option.
3. Press the right cursor key
4. Select ON or OFF and press ,ENTER

The continuous controllers are shown opposite. This
controller information can be used to provide a screen
display through a MIDI device such as

sequencer. Nor-
mally send is turned on. To turn slave mode on or off:
1. Select MIDI from the set up menu and press ENTER.
2. Select the SEND option.
3. Press the right cursor key
4. Select ON or OFF and press ENTER.
