SPIRE SERIES User manual

9.2. Work Mode Menu

This menu allows you to choose the operating mode.

DMX Ctrl / Auto Run / Sound Ctrl: They are, respectively, the DMX control mode, the 

automatic mode, and the sound control, thought which the machine is controlled by 

the sound present in the surrounding environment.

Choose the desired mode by tapping it on the display. The selected one is indicated by 

a tick ( ).

M/S Choose: When ON, the fixture operates as MASTER unit; when OFF, the fixture is 

SLAVE. Of course this requires that two or more machines are used together.

Connect them in series, where the DMX OUT of one fixture connects to the DMX IN of 

the next fixture. The first light controls the others in auto show, sound control show, 

and so on. This mode is specifically intended for instant show setup. First light must be 

set as master light.

Light Switch: Allows you to turn the lamp on or off. This command is useful when 

you want to reduce the consumption of the lamps, making sure that it is always off at 

moving head power-on. It will then be possible to switch it on via DMX command only 

when the light show starts.

Channel Qty: Allows to select between simple DMX (16CH) and expanded (20CH) mod-

els. For further details see “12. CHANNEL MODES” on page 20.
