AUXILIARY (AUX) MODE
Press the
“
FUNCTION
”
button
to “AUX” position, “AUX” indicator will be shown on LCD
DISPLAY.
Connect the earphone socket from Auxiliary unit (e.g. MP3 player or MD player) into AUX-IN
jack on the rear of this product via an Audio Line Cord (3.5mm plug on both ends; not supplied).
Play the Auxiliary unit. Music from Auxiliary unit can be listened through the speaker of this
product.
STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
For private listening, insert the plug of a stereo headphone into STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
and adjust
“VOLUME
” control knob accordingly. During the use of headphone speakers are
automatically disconnected.
Note:
Do not listen at extremely high volume level. Extended high volume listening can lead to
permanent hearing loss. Once you set the volume, do not increase it. Overtime, your ears adapt
to the volume level, so a volume level that does not cause discomfort might still damage your
hearing.
EQ BOOST
To EQ at all mode, press the
“EQ”
button
“FLAT-CLAS-ROC-POP-JAZZ” to your desired sound.
CASSETTE OPERATION
Tape Playback
Depress the
“
STOP/EJ
”
button to open the cassette door. Insert a cassette tape into the
cassette compartment and push the cassette door to close. Press the
“FUNCTION”
button to
“TAPE” position. Press the
“PLAY”
button. Adjust the
“VOLUME”
control knob to your desired
listening level. To stop the tape, press the
“STOP/EJ”
button.
Fast Forward and Rewind
The tape can be fast forwarded or rewind by pressing the
“F.FWD”
button or
“
REWIND
”
button
respectively.
Pause Function
During playback, the tape can be stopped temporarily by pressing the
“PAUSE”
button. To
continue playback, press the
“PAUSE”
button once again.
Auto Stop System
When the tape runs to its end during playback, the cassette operation will be stopped
automatically.
Caution
To avoid damage to the cassette mechanism or to the cassette tapes, always depress the
“STOP/EJ”
button between each operation!
Maintenance
Cleaning the tape heads
Clean the heads frequently to remove dust and tape residue. Dirt on the heads will impair the
sound quality of both and playback.
