
Presets
If you plan to use the MixPre II in a wide variety of situations, you can store and recall snapshots of all of the MixPre II’s settings.
Setup files can be saved and recalled from the SD card or to one of four internal preset slots. You can also restore the MixPre II to
the factory default settings from the Presets menu.
Load
Loads factory defaults or user presets from SD Card or from on of four internal slots.
Save to INT 1-4
Saves the current setup to internal slot 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Save to SD
Saves the current setup to the SD card.
Projects
New
Create a custom project name or project name based on the current date. Names may be up to 18 characters long.
Open
Select the required project. This will load the File List with the selected Project’s files.
Copy
Select the project to copy to a USB-A Drive.
Trash Project
Select which project to trash. This moves the selected project and all its files to the TRASH folder. Projects in this folder are
accessible using a computer. You can permanently delete projects in the SD card’s TRASH folder using a computer or by formatting
the card.
Create Report
The MixPre II includes the ability to create a .csv sound report file for the active project. It contains useful descriptive information
about the project settings and all its recorded files. This can be used as a log of your recording session or as an electronic report
that you can send along with your audio files to post-production or a client. The CSV sound report file is stored in the active project’s
folder alongside audio files and is named as follows: ActiveProjectName_Report.csv
Report Info
The MixPre II can customize the sound report’s descriptive header information to include various project details, such as Producer,
Director, Job, Name, Location, Phone, E-mail, Client, etc. Enter details for each info item using the on-screen virtual keyboard, a
USB keyboard. If items are blank, they will not be included in the report file.
